Damoy Point
Damoy has a refugio which happened to be occupied by a couple of British carpenters who were doing some work. The site is a former summer landing strip.
Back off!!
We have no idea what was up but we watched these two penguins wander in from the water. The one on the left DID NOT like the other one and drove him off.
I'm hot
ahhh cool breeze, cool breeze...
Picking rocks
Penguins are rock obsessed. This one selected rocks out of the muck, walked them back to the nest or sometimes dropped them half way there. It's a funny trait to watch.
Coming through, belly full
If you sat on rocks, penguins would come wandering by. This one appeared to be in a rush to get back to the next to feed hungry chicks.
Hungry!
This wasn't the mate from the last pic but this one seemed to be in a rush to get out and fish...that or there was an awesome rock he spied.
ooooh rock....
Nests with view
All smiles

Damoy was to be our camping spot but there was weather rolling in. At the time the weather looked fine but that eveing it started to rain...and it didn't let up. A good decision as always.
